Manga (and manhwa, manhua, and novels) where characters swap bodies. Manga where a person dies and inhabits the body of another person in the same world are tagged as Reincarnation. Manga where a person inhabits the body of a person in a fantasy world are tagged as Isekai.

Growing up sucks lmao

One thing I've noticed over the years is the sheer amount of people that want recommendations based on a handful of titles that get the whole "being a teenager is physical and emotional hell" angle down pat. You know the ones, we've all been there.

The listed series all deal with the relationships between youths and their bodies, the bodies of others, and the difficulties of becoming an adult. I tried to select series that are more grounded, but ones that capture that same mood and themes will be considered as well.

Manga that I believe are highly underrated and deserve more attention.

I love reading tragic and twisted romance. So I made this stack for myself and also for the people who enjoy reading them. Hope you'll be able to find something new through this stack ^^

This is a list of works focusing on stories where characters experience gender or biological sex shifts as a significant part of the plot.

There is either a supernatural or major psychological component to all of these entries. Pure crossdressing works are excluded.

Manga I would consider LGBT rather than a specific genre like BL or GL. I also included lesser-known stories I enjoyed that had LGBT characters whose identities are not made to be major plot points.

Gender-bending characters who are (probably) not transgender. Meaning they gender-bend (their sex changes through supernatural means- body swaps included) but don't like their new bodies. Which is still relatable to the trans experience in terms of gender dysphoria.
