Comedy manga about humans interacting with a type of anthropomorphic people who have integrated into society. They are similar to edutainment as they include a lot of facts about real-life animal species that manifest as character traits. The difference is Moriking is about insects and Anko-san is about deep-sea fish. 

Shinrakyu Ika Musume (Squid Girl) and Shinkaigyo no Anko-san both has a main female protagonist with attributes of sea creature. Their personalities contrasts with one another but often catches the attention of others because of their appearances. While lacking a complex story, they make it up with their humorous comedy and experience gags that depicts their lives on Earth. Recommended for fans of supernatural + slice of life fiction presented in a lighthearted format.
