Hellper is an action packed fantasy manhwa with a unique minimalist visual style. It has great composition and creative use of camera angle. There are many panels that can legit be printed out as posters given their high contrast and bold use of color. The fights are easy to follow and flow quite well. It does not shy away from using exaggeration to sell the impact of a punch. The art style can be goofy like Dr. Slump, but it can also be serious when it needs to. have strong personality that are multidimensional.
The story stems from the personal level of the characters, then grows into this huge overarching plot that questions the idea of justice. The main plot is quite straightforward and honestly predictable, but the subplot of the side characters is what got me hooked on this series. There are no villains in this story, because they all have their own reasons to choose what they do.
Overall, I highly recommend this manhwa.
