Both manga have a similar atmosphere, both involve otherworldly creatures and have great protagonists. They also have really good art. 

They are typical fantasy adventure mangas, the main character has a demon inside who grants him power and the ending is exactly the same. 

Battle shounen in a wild world with awesome level of details for the monsters. 

Typical adventure shounen with guy protecting the world and a very similar ending. 

This series both contain similar elements of combat when it comes to the abilities of "shadows" in Ral Grad and "stands" in Stardust Crusaders. Both of these forms of power are strange spiritual constructs that emerge from a users body. The story of Ral Grad is a short shounen adventure wear the main "shadow" wielding character goes on a journey to defeat another powerful shadow wielder. This format can also be seen in Stardust Crusaders as our main "stand" user goes across the world in order to defeat the main antagonist, another powerful stand user. In Ral Grad, you can expect a story laced with comedy as our heroes complete their task, while in JoJo, the story does have its amazingly comedic moments, Stardust Crusaders as a whole is a more serious story. read more

Ral Grad and Fairy Tail are both set in mythical world where people have magic, and they both center around a quirky guy and his rag-tag bunch. Ral Grad is shorter and a little darker, but still cute and funny. 

RalΩGrad and Qwan both have very similar styles and overarching plots. A young boy has special abilities and is given a task to save the world. The artwork in both series are top-notch, and the character designs are fabulous. Though RalΩGrad is for more mature audiences, those who love Qwan will definitely like this. Both main characters share a sort of innocence and have an older female guide to help them along their quest, joined by other intriguing characters along the way. Similarly, both stories take place in alternate pre-technology pasts. The main difference here is that we know about Ral's past, but Qwan's history remains a mystery. Qwan is also quite a bit more "adult-like" than Ral, whose sole purpose for accomplishing his feats of heroism is the bosoms that await him afterward. Overall, both series are above par on the scale of readability, interesting plot, eye-catching artwork, and captivating characters, not to mention the superb creature designs. Two thumbs up on both of them! Definite reads for adult audiences. read more
