If you've read Ten Count you'll get a kick out of Graineliers. I've only read the first few chapters yet the similarities are frightening. The main character in Graineliers is named Lucas, but looks and acts exactly like Kurose from Ten Count. I found out that the similarities were due to the books being from the same author, but thst doesn't dismiss the face that these two are good to read one after the next. It proves that history does repeat. Think about it like this: Lucas and Abel from Graineliers are Kurose and Shirotani from Ten Count in their past lives. With this, everything makes sense. Luc/Kuro's blonde haired- older man friend in their childhood, his loneliness from due to his parents, the blondie who he's got a weird relationship with, his love for studying that came from the blonde-haired older man. Also, why he fell for Shirotani in his second life. I don't know if all of this was on purpose or not but it certainly akes for an interesting read. <3  read more 

Both contain characters that have the extraordinary ability to grow plants. Silver Diamond deals with a parallel Japanese universe, while Graineliers takes place in a historical setting. Both also have a character who is part plant as well.
