A one-volume sequel to SA. Street Fight is a fun series of stories filling in some gaps with the characters, although it doesn't really advance the plot in any meaningful way. (Warning: If you haven't read SA, there might be some spoilers here. Also, if you haven't read the original, I can't imagine you getting anything out of SA: Street Fight anyway, so you might as well stop reading now..)

Story (8): About half of Street Fight is about Kei's increasing frustration due to the promise he and Hikari made at the end of SA: they won't get married until Hikari defeats ... him. These chapters are amusing, and they underscore how much Hikari and Kei love each other, but that's about it.

It's the other stories here that really make Street Fight shine. We get to see a nice moment between Akira and Tadashi (of which there aren't many in SA); Megumi and Yahiro interact a bit more; and we get to see Finn meet Ryu's sister. All of these stories advance the relationships of their respective couple in a small, but meaningful way.

Art (7): It's very indicative of where SA ended up. (SA's art improved substantially over it's run.) The backgrounds can be very good (at times), and the character art is very shoujo, though with a bit of a distinctive flair. Some of the guys look a little too alike, but that's always been a problem with SA.

Character (10): I've always loved the characters in SA, and this shows them at their best. Yahiro is still a good-guy trying to play a villain. Megumi and Finn are each trying to come out of their shells a bit. Tadashi and Akira are both trying to be better lovers, although with only moderate success. And Hikari, Kei, and Ryu are the same lovable people that they were by the end of SA's run.

Enjoyment (9): If you like SA, you'll like this just as much.

Overall (8): I'll ding it a little bit for still leaving a couple of the relationships up in the air a bit, and for alluding to an off-camera pairing that I wish had been shown. But those are minor complaints; if you like SA, you will like this just as well, even if it doesn't provide complete closure.
