As much as I love attack on titan I can not deny that this is just bad... Isyama has come so far with his art. The art in this is as close to shit. It’s super bad.. I guess you should give this a read it’s very short and you get to see how good he is at drawing now. He draws more dynamically now and has great some great art panels in attack on titan. This manga is basically a comparison with how he used to draw. And how he is drawing as of now.

Alright. I just gave this one a go. Do take this review with a grain of salt as this is my first review on the website (and probably my last). I'm not gonna talk about the characters as Tsubaki is just Eren and Murakamo is just Mikasa. This is a prototype after all.
Story 6/10: The story's the exact same as AOT, titan shifters, titans, inner walls, ect. There's some tweaks here and there though, such as the titan's weak spot being the nucleus, and the vanguard corps (survey corps) using katanas. I read this one by mistake, my intention was reading AoT from beginning and this was the first thing that I found. Saying that I was confused would be an utter understatement.
Nevertheless, I guess it's fun to just go back today to the very start of AoT and think of how humble beginnings can take us to places never thought of before. If you're a die-hard fan of the series maybe give it a go, otherwise you're not missing much. Mainly because the whole chapter looks like a scribble that some of us made when we were in some boring history class back in high ... |
