Tragedy is a genre of drama based on human suffering and, mainly, the terrible or sorrowful events that befall a main character. Shoujo manga tends to have a reputation for telling the same kind of stories over and over - romances, magical girls, cute animals, fujobait involving a cast of hot guys (often flocking around a hapless female lead), and slice-of-life series starring characters doing mundane things. They tend to be full of fluff or melodrama and are generally low on violence. But not every shoujo title fits into the "usual" categories meant for teenage girls. This list features atypical titles that you probably wouldn't guess ran in a shoujo magazine.

This series of interest stacks is a list of mangas & light novels that have been or are being licensed and published in Argentina. This DOES NOT include imported physicals originally released in other territories, only manga licensed for the Argentine market. Novels, Manhwa and Manhua are included, however, manga-style non-asian releases are not mentioned here. Any manga missing on MAL will be noted in each stack's description, or in particular entries related to them.

The manga are in alphabetical order according to the title they were published under in Argentina, and not according to their original title. Each modified title is noted under each manga. Most of these can be bought online, although there are discontinued manga which can no longer be found unless bought second-hand.

These interest stacks will be updated (semi-)regularly and should always be considered to be incomplete. Please, message me if there's any entry missing, and/or if any info is wrong or missing. Due to MAL's 50-items limit on interest stacks, the entire list spans multiple stacks, some of which are continuations of the same letter.

This is a list of the Shojo and Josei manga that have received physical releases from Kodansha, even if some of them are Out of Print.

Notably, I am NOT including any titles which have been physically released by Seven Seas or Yen Press in this list as Kodansha was not the one to give them a physical release.

I will include any titles which were previously published by another publisher that Kodansha has re-released.

List dedicated to all the Shoujo and Josei manga that have been published in Mexico by different publishers throughout its history.

Personally, I love this type of manga, I feel that I connect deeply with their style and tones, to the point of wanting to buy the ones I can get from these demographics in my personal library.
