The Natsume Yuujinchou novel is a collection of entirely new stories not present in the anime or manga. That is, unless I’ve already forgot about them being present, which is entirely possible. Also, the English translation is only available up to the 3rd chapter of 2nd volume and has been stuck at that point for quite a while, so that is the part my review is for.
While it’s not something I would call bad, it’s definitely something I would call boring. The stories hardly have a point. They are not witty, they don’t have a message, they just sort of… exist. Which, to be fair,
