Both mangas follow the next generation of their respective series which include the sons of our previous main characters. Ultimate Muscle has more bizarre character designs while Otokojuku has more variety in fights. Both sequels are just as good as their predecessors & contain the same level of over the top manliness! 

Both are sequels in which the authors' drawings improve greatly while also bringing more violent content to the fights. The matches of both MMA and wrestling are over-the-top but also share the same struggle of the main character living up to his father's reputation. 

Of all the parts found in JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, I feel Battle Tendency had the greatest emphasis on family bearing a similar tone to Ultimate Muscle aka Kinnikuman Nisei. Both contain story arcs centered on the descendants of heroic families such as the Zeppelis, the Joestars, the Robin Dynasty, & the Kinniku Clan, etc. These manga carry the spirit of manly 80's shonen with emphasis on camaraderie and multiple bizarre events throughout the story.
