Shirahime, the goddess of snow, which is said to be her tears. Shirahime-Syo is a collection of short stories, connected by a motive of snow - tears of the goddess.
Story - 7. Every chapter contains another story, and each of them gives another feeling, so it's a bit hard to rate, but every story is very special. You can also see the inspirations from Japanese legends.
Art - 10. In fact, Shirahime-Syo is for me more of an artbook than actual manga. The art is stunning. All characters are beautifully, studiously drawn, backgrounds as well. There are even few coloured pages, which are also amazing.
Characters -

. Stories in Shirahime-Syo are too short to get to know characters better, nor to like them. But their personalities and the way they act are realistic so I give a strong 7.
Enjoyment - 8. I truly enjoyed reading Shirahime-Syo - mostly because of beautiful drawings, but stories are all very enjoyable, even though they're sad.
Overall - 8. I can recommend Shirahime-Syo to all fans of Japanese culture, especially the yuki-onna, ghost/goddess of snow. People who love mangas with great art and good story will like this piece of art as well.
