This was a cute, non-canon chapter in the JoJo series. It doesn't really have a story honestly, it's just an excuse to see some fan-favorite characters, and Polpo, again in print. The art and color choices were stunning, and it was a treat visually.

Really, the whole point was the collaboration with Gucci, and seeing the characters dressed in dapper fashion. Knowing Araki's love of fashion, I'm sure this was an absolute joy.

Story: 4/10 - Essentially non-existent, but what is there is enjoyable.

Art: 10/10 - Completely fantastic, as expected of Araki's work.

Character: 8/10 - While the characters didn't have a lot of area to work with, ... it was enjoyable getting to see Bruno, Abbaccio, and Jolyne again.

Enjoyment: 7/10 - I did enjoy what I read. I didn't blow me away, but I had fun.

Overall: 6/10 - it was fun for what it is. Don't expect too much, and you'll enjoy the few minutes you have reading this.

My waifu jolyne? Wearing all gucci? yeah you sold me thats all I need solid 10, The artwork and clothes are all beautiful and I loved it so much. It had me laughing a lot, and just in awe of the artwork of Jolyne with the unicorn, distracting you from the main focus, the Gucci clothes. In thier own beauty they stole the show by being even more beautiful than the unicorn. Together, Jolyne, Gucci, and the unicorn made quite a beautiful manga to read. I also like how Abbachio and Bruno were in a non-cannon universe written by Araki. I dont know if hes ... done anything else like this, but its a nice surrealism take on it.

Jolyne Fly High with Gucci is a short, and I mean very short non canon JoJo side story set in a different universe, It has Jolyne, Polpo, Abbacchio and Bruno. It was nice short and had some dope artwork.

Q: Should you read Jolyne, Gucci de Tobu?

A: You can... But you don't have too, it doesn't really add more to the over arching JoJo narrative and is just a short spinoff series, for fans of the series it's always nice seeing some old faces, maybe even a tad but nostalgic, hell it might put a tear in your eye seeing Bruno ... again, regardless it's always great to see some familiar faces. As for people trying to get into JoJo, I don't think I have to say this but there's no point in reading this short spinoff, you should probably go read part 1 or part 5.

~Review Portion~

To be honest, there's not much to review here, of course Araki's art is as stunning as usual and its nice seeing familiar faces but that's it really. There's not much to say, The Unicorn creature that was introduced wasn't very interesting and in all honesty the only reason to read this spinoff is for the sake of seeing familiar characters and some very good art. There's not enough material to determine if the characters have changed and there's not enough story to talk about. The spin offs only a measly 26 pages and are mostly to show off the awesome Gucci designs.

All in all Jolyne, Gucci de Tobu is a nice short jojo side story with some great art and some nice fan service by including some fan favourite characters.

Possibly one of the most bizarre things to come out of jojo's bizarre adventure, as it feels like reading a fever dream, in that it makes very little sense. There's a good reason for that though, as this manga serves as an advertisement for gucci, so aesthetics is the name of the game, and the story is just a vehicle for that. Considering the fact that Araki loves his fashion, that can be an endorsement for manga's artwork, and it definitely is gorgeous in parts, but the more incidental panels to show progression of a scene can be a little vague and confusing. It is ... a rare occasion though where a jojo manga was made in full colour from its inception.

In short, read this if you've read up to the first few chapters of the 6th part of Jojo's Bizarre Adventure (Stone Ocean) to get the most out of this, but it isn't necessary as none of it is cannon or makes any sense in the story anyway. Don't go in to this with expecting a story, because that's really not with this is about, rather its enjoyment, at least for me personally, comes from just how weird it is and its artwork. This is an ad, not a fully-fledged spin-off like "Thus Spoke Rohan Kishibe".
