I'm shocked no one recommended this yet, they're so similar. Male MC's are both smart serious guys who likes to stay out of attention, then female lead also likes the MC, same atmosphere (most of the time light-hearted, then sometimes heavy too) so if you're reading this and haven't read either one, I really wish you find the time to enjoy these.

I don't think that anyone who has read both series will argue that 'Douka Ore wo Houtteoite Kure: Nazeka Bocchi no Owatta Koukou Seikatsu wo Kanojo ga Kaeyou to Shitekuru' isn't 'heavily inspired' by oregairu. It doesn't only wear its influence on its sleeve, it is fully coated in it. This 'influence' is so blatantly obvious that the other aspects of the series kinda fall to the wayside. In Warou Kanoko-sama, the protagonist is a loner and prefers to be a loner. She has a twisted personality, also she is very smart and and solve mysteries and such. Her life as a loner changed after transferring to her 99th school and she became friends with the 'populars.'

Anti-social protagonist is forced to interact with females in a high school setting.

In both series, we have a student council/club that details with the many affairs going around at school. There is a distinctive character cast in both series as well. The main female protagonist has an insightful way of thinking while displaying some quirky traits. Likewise, both series also explores their relationships with others. As their story progresses, we learn more about how complicated the characters are with their personal traits.

Same concept of a club consisting of socially incompetent people with no friends. Michiganite is a bit less bright and happy than Tomodachi ga Sukunai, and has fewer characters.
