This manga is an absolute masterpiece and the best Furyou/Yankee manga of all time.

It's a shame it's not more popular nowdays. this was one of the best selling Shonen Jump mangas in the 90s and was fully translated in France where Yankee manga was popular in the 2000s but is still not fully available in english to this day.

If you love Furyou it's a must read. The art is special and very realistic, very impressive considiring it's a weekly release, the characters are the best part of the series, all charismatic and very human and well developped.

It's being over 15 years since I ... read it and I can still remember all the amazing side characters and their stories. the funny moments and the moral lessons.
It's mostly episodic stories or short arcs but the longer arcs later in the series are the most memorable and hype of the manga featuring the charismatic 4 Heavenly Kings of Tokyo.

Review of “Rokudenashi Blues” (So far)

While searching about looking for a good delinquent series, i stumbled upon Rokudenashi Blues. (Good for nothing blues)
Within a week i had caught up with it, i was completely hooked from the first chapter.
I found this series was a fresh breeze from the usual overpowered, effeminate protagonist fighting off a never ending flow of enemies bent on wanting to destroy the earth. This was about high school delinquents being high school delinquents, with a bit of boxing on the side.
The fight scenes were great, they were really well detailed and there were plenty of them too, and none of that ... “final boss” bullshit, some of the two page spreads were amazing. i also enjoyed how they were never one sided by the protagonist either, with Maeda getting his ass handed to him a couple of times.
It wasn’t just about the fights though, this manga is actually hilarious too, i actually had myself laughing out loud at a couple of parts, especially whenever Maeda and Shimabukuro would meet.
All in all i recommend this to whoever likes Shonen manga, it’s a good read, you wont regret it.

Currently, on Batoto they only have up to chapter 109, so i still have a long way to go until i reach 422, but thank you to "crazy deliquents and shit scans" for the hard work in producing more chapters.

My quick Rokudenashi Blues review

As of 1st of August 2021. there are 293 translated chapters (it's still being scanlated)

If you are into 90s anime,delinquents,fighting and comedy,you are in for a treat.I started this series because it's supposed to be a boxing manga,but classic delinquent fights and comedy take the most of the story (so far,since it's still being translated)
The fights we do get to see are top tear and believe it or not,I think Maeda is probably one of the strongest delinquents in all of manga/anime.
One of the best thing about this manga are thecharacters; Maeda is,in my opinion,very well written character,and the other ones ... are entertaining and fun as well


The point is- I'm bad at writing reviews,as you can see,you should just read it and see for yourself
