What an underrated piece of work.
There are rarely comedy manga which make me laugh out loud, but this was one of them.
The comedy ties perfectly with the unique art style and interesting characters.
Moreover, you dont have to be into martial arts or battle manga to like this one, since comedy is still its strong point.

The story is not too deep and follows a certain pattern but loosens everything up with new characters and good gags. The focus on the characters relationships and family bonds are another main part.

Overall I had a very good read with this and can only recommend the anime ...

Sumomomo Momomo: Chijou Saikyou no Yome (World's Strongest Bride) is the first manga written by Ohtaka Shinobu, the creator of Magi (more famous), its span was 5 years with a total of 92 chapters (+4 extra chapters added at the end of some volumes), 12 volumes, from 2004 till 2009.

Following the synopsis, it's about a guy who gets a sudden visit from a martial arts cute girl who proclaims that they should married and live happily ever after with healthy children, the hook of the story is simple: our main boy character, Inuzuka Koushi, doesn't want to do martial arts and hates girls that do ...

What a big waste of time.
This 12 Volume long piece could have been easily been a 1 Volume piece since practically nothing at all is happening for the first 11 Volumes.

There is some character development present, but only for the side characters. The main character is basically the same pathetic person for pretty much the entire time.

The flow is like this:
others help him out -> he realizes he is weak and useless -> maybe wants to change -> doesn't do anything

*repeat for ~11 volumes*

I rarely have been this angry at a Manga on how slow and boring it is and how nothing is happening ...

SPOILER
So for anyone wondering where to continue the manga from the anime's end then start with volume 7. Obviously a new antagonist is introduced after the tiger family and it kinda gets frustrating to deal with the weak main character at times but that's the whole point of the story but towards the end it becomes more of a shonen jump action manga than a gag manga how it was first started off (with the title saying the world's strongest bride) towards the end later half of the manga after the bride-to-be becomes more of a side character and doesn't really fight anyone else ...
