A princess has to spend a certain amount of time in a different world/ country that she is used to. The 'normal' that she is accustomed to is really weird in this new place. The main girls from both manga are normally a bit mean, which is perfectly fine where they come from, but in the normal world, they come across as snobby and mean. Then they fall in love. Sugar Sugar Rune has two main girls, while Queen's Egg only has one, and in Queen's Egg she has to travel to a different country rather than a different world. In both of them you have magic. Though in Sugar Sugar Rune the girls are the magical beings and the guys are normal.....Well you get my point.

For starters, ~both have two girls competing to be the queen ~both have a pair of girls with opposite personalities ~both have love triangles ~both deal with fantasy/magical elements~

Both stories have a world where people can use magic, but sugar sugar rune has the human-world too. Stories or characters aren't similar.
