Both focus on a magical girl going after magical items that have effects on humans around them. 

In both series magic girls from other worlds arrive at Earth to compete (collecting stones and hearts of boys respectively) in order to become the queen. 

Both about magic and little girls . Have aslo very similiar feeling with amazing magical world. 

Both series are about magical girls from another world coming to earth & then falling in love with someone despite being told they shouldn't. 

both side from being magical settings as well as the friendship shit, there's also heart collecitng as well too. 

A princess has to spend a certain amount of time in a different world/ country that she is used to. The 'normal' that she is accustomed to is really weird in this new place. The main girls from both manga are normally a bit mean, which is perfectly fine where they come from, but in the normal world, they come across as snobby and mean. Then they fall in love. Sugar Sugar Rune has two main girls, while Queen's Egg only has one, and in Queen's Egg she has to travel to a different country rather than a different world. Also, Sugar Sugar Rune is a magical girl with more fantasy in it. read more 

In both of them you have magic. Though in Sugar Sugar Rune the girls are the magical beings and the guys are normal.....Well you get my point. 

For starters, ~both have two girls competing to be the queen ~both have a pair of girls with opposite personalities ~both have love triangles ~both deal with fantasy/magical elements~ 

Both stories have a world where people can use magic, but sugar sugar rune has the human-world too. Stories or characters aren't similar. 

because they are both supernatural and the names of the characters are quite similar as well but they are both very nice to read..
