The world building are both well made with their own rule that they respect

While the premises of both series are not alike, they do involve technology in particular with robotics. The main female character also has a strong personality that is evident from the beginning. Throughout their story, they develop unique relationships with other characters. There's also a decent amount of sci-fi mechanics that are explored as we learn more about their worlds.

Created by Yuuji Iwahara, expect quite a bit of similarities from both series. The main male protagonist has a cold personality and often portrayed as a lone wolf to get jobs done. Their job also deals with dangerous individuals as they try to make a difference in their worlds. Both series' fictional world setting also explores individuals with special abilities acquired by mysterious means. There is a decent amount of action with story building. Recommended for fans interested in sci-fi thrillers.

Taking place in a futuristic setting, both series has cyberpunk themes as well as experimentation. There is advanced technology with powerful capabilities. In addition, both series' main characters gets involved with these strange technology that changes their lives forever. Although their premises are not alike, there's a distinctive amount of focus with their sci-fi setting with colorful mechanics.

They both share a similar setting: a futuristic world where the main characters are tasked with something similar to bounty hunting. The story of Alita is set in a more apocalyptic and grim world while the one of Dimension W is more peaceful and generally light-hearted, even if it's hinted to be peaceful only on the surface...
