Its a historical/fantasy (but Red River is a girl droped in another world type, were as the other just lives there)

Manga: InuYasha
They both have: girls with special abilities, hot bishies who are skilled fighters, monsters, demons, people/monsters seeking out more power, and a villain who is hard to defeat. Both are set in the Feudal period. The art style is also a little similar because they were both written a while ago, but it is really beautiful to look at.

Same mangaka, both have adventure, romance, fantasy and nice art. If you liked Kanata Kara, I'm sure you'll enjoy this one too.
