My first review so bare with me. Anyways, I enjoyed Kamunagara quite a bit. The story is pretty simple at first. You quickly find out that the 2 main characters are basically reincarnated demon slayers from the past. Although at first the only one who regained their memories was the girl named Takemi. She tells Kaguya about how they used to be lover's, fought off demons from the "other world" in their past lives and how long she has waited for him. But to her dismay, he doesnt remember one bit of it. This is all in like the first 2 chapters.

the story progressed a bit slow at the start. Kaguya was much weaker then i expected. Since he can't recall his memories, he couldn't properly use the "Holy sword" that's been entrusted to him. Well, and the fact that he was suddenly attacked by a demon and some girl feeding him crazy stories left him quite confused for while. I eventually got used to it though. There was one chapter however, that completely made me change my viewpoint of this manga from being just good to pretty damn awesome and really brought out my expectations for later chapters. Hopefully it doesnt disappoint me, considering i couldnt find anything translated after chapter 45. Anyways, i'll be spoiling it if i told you what it was :).
Although the artwork is pretty well drawn, it is sometimes hard to follow what's going on at times. If it wasnt for that, i probably would've given this manga a 9 since ive greatly enjoyed it.
Anyways, if you like seeing some sword fights, demons/vengeful spirits in modern day society, and a good story line then you should check this manga out. Its a real easy read. The fight scenes and story alone are worth it.
