Hybrid Child are dolls created and grow by the love of the owner. The dolls learn to feel and act according to their own will. The plots are complete different - besides sharing genres. ZE is longer and more in-depth about love, relationships, hardships, family issues and jealously. Where KP is lighter and more of a quick-fix vampire themed yaoi. Both have very similar art though. I would recommend ZE over KP personally.

Ze is a yaoi version of Fruits Basket in my opinion. Outsider thrown into supernatural household. Very good read for yaoi fans.

By the same artist that did ZE, Love Mode combines many characters and plots starting with high school student Izumi's blind date mix up with Takamiya (who is expecting a high class date from a gay dating club called Blue Boy). Drama, action, and silliness ensue. My favorite couple however are Shirakawa Naoya and Aoe Reiji (the owner of Blue Boy) who appear in volume 2 when Noaya is accidently knocked unconscious by a potted plant thrown out a window by Reiiji cheating girlfriend.
