Any shoujo or josei manga series that focuses on delinquent or gang member characters. This stack includes delinquents or gang members of any gender.

Note: This stack does not include overly explicit titles, titles I could not find very much information on, titles I thought were too strange to add here, or titles where the focus on delinquents or gang members was minimal.

a list of titles for anyone who wants to read outside of their usual genre using titles with each letter of the alphabet. manga has been chosen on the basis that it is non-mainstream, so is less likely to have been read, or is the closest to the letter theme as possible

disclaimer: i have not read all of these. some, like G.I.D. are notoriously hard to find, but (hopefully!!) there is something here that piques your interest and you find something new!! have fun reading!! :)

its moe gap manga! manga on this list all have one lead considered to be scary due to their looks (when in actuality, they're very sweet or well-intentioned), and with another lead either idolised, respected, or considered noticeably attractive by their peers. its one of my FAVOURITE tropes, so im collecting them like treasures :)

to qualify, characters do not need to fulfil all of the above requirements: a character can be respected OR idolised OR both and still qualify. equally, the scary character can also act truthfully scary at times and still qualify, if in these situations it is a misunderstanding, they're protecting someone, or a fight they are getting into is with moral motivations.
