Both are diabetes-including romcom wholesomeness with an introverted character getting to better know an extroverted one.

In both manga, the girls friends think that she is normal, but in reality, they are always working at home, where they're parents are not there (in Fruits basket, Tooru is an orphan living alone, and in Hori-San Hori is also living alone, but she has parents). Both are good shoujos. I think fruits basket is longer. Both of the girls are hardworking and kind, but the guys are a little different. Plus, there's a little bit of triangle love (2 guys like one girl) going on in both manga.
