Quality manga with good stories which include characters that are transgender, crossdressers, body swapped, LGBT, etc.

Most manga have complex characters with substance to the stories.

In this compilation there are manga with quite complicated stories that are not recommended for all audiences. As they are: cult manga, artistic, experimental, avant-garde, underrated, psychological, philosophical, unique or mind-blowing.

Psychological drama explore thematic elements such as abandonment, coming-of-age problems, denialism, disability, distorted sequences, dysfunctional relationships, human sexuality, mental disorders, mood swings, odd behaviors, post-traumatic stress disorder, psychological abuse, psychedelic art, social issues, and other serious discussions that unlikely centers themes turn more focused on both issues of the character's life and reality.

This stack also includes manga that are not listed as "Psychological" in mal database but they still have psychological elements in them E.g. Shoujo Fujuubun.

This is a list of works focusing on stories where characters experience gender or biological sex shifts as a significant part of the plot.

There is either a supernatural or major psychological component to all of these entries. Pure crossdressing works are excluded.

A list of disturbing mangas where the queerness of the protagonists holds a central place in the plot, because i am personally growing increasingly frustrated and/or bored with the innocuous queer representation in utterly sterilised mainstream medias.

These queer mangas are ambivalent, some of them might deal in harmful tropes, but they are interested in queerness, and won't treat it as fragile porcelain or unstable explosive.

Must-read manga mostly demographed as Seinen but also contains other good mangas that are not published in any Seinen magazine but are definitely suited for an older/adult audience.

All these mangas are a good read in my opinion, ofcourse this includes ones that I consider top-tier and personal favorites but the others - if not amazing, are definitely worth reading at least once.
