Both have the fantasy genre and similar themes of magic, witches, and immortality. However in Majo no Shinzou there is more adventure while Hibiki no Mahou is set in one area with many reoccurring characters.

Lonely individuals that see what others can not, usually passing by unnoticed and having as company and protection an object that can turn into human form, reencounters with acquaintances from long time ago, myths, rumours and mysterious books. Whereas Majo no Shinzou has a more fantastical setting both manga have a Historical touch with occasional comical moments and decent art particularly in Majo no Shinzou, where it's outstanding especially because of the detailed backgrounds and the coloured pages that are missing in Monochrome Myst. The stories are formed by a series of cases that the characters get involved in through variety of scenarios, though the episodic  read more

Characters: The characters, Mika and Victorique, have similar personalities (cool, knowledgeable, and somewhat cold). They also both have loyal, dorky companions (Lumiere and Kujo). Story: Both are fantasy/historical type stories but Majo no Shinzou is more focused on magic and Gosick is filled with legends and solving mysteries. Majo no Shinzou also has more adventure since the main character is constantly traveling without a home to return to. Both stories also have a dark tone to it. Style: The art in both manga's are very cute and light (lolita style?).

These are Stories about traveling with a talking object and meeting interesting places and people. Both have a similar philosophical undertone.

This follows a similar idea, a strange young women travels the world on a quest followed by strange companions, a talking lamp in "Majo no Shinzou" and a talking bat and odd children in "Hitsugikatsugi no Kuro". Both of them follow an episodic structure and have some fairy-tale elements. "Shoulder-a-Coffin Kuro" is more consistently dark in terms of tone whereas "Witch's Heart" flip-flops between light and heavy themes more often. That's not to say that either can't manage emotional scenes or comic relief either.

Both are about immortal main characters going on a journey. People come and go, there are two main companions in Majo no Shinzou whereas Fumetsu no Anata e switches around. Majo no Shinzou is definitely more lighthearted than Fumetsu no Anata e, but it definitely doesn't take away from the story.

Both stories where characters go on journeys. Often with that feeling of gentle sadness along the way. Although MnS is somewhat darker in tone.

Known for their fantasy adventure themes, both series takes place in a fictional world where there are endless possibilities. The main female protagonist is on a journey with a goal in mind. Throughout their story, we see their purpose for following that journey. And while the story progresses, there is considerable amount of character relationships that she develops with others. Both series has great world fiction in terms of various properties associated with their themes.

A girl goes on a journey. Both involve fantasy/supernatural themes with immortalism, life and death. Mika is a witch while Ai is a grave keeper. Both girls meet people along the way and pass through many stories of other people while discovering their own.

Both storylines presents to the reader an opportunity to follow the dailylife of an witch, presenting marvellous magical scenes. In both cases, the story is developed slowly but in a heratwarming way as the protagonist slowly grows as she makes new friends. In both mangas, we see a psychological development, as the protegonist interact with their reality. As the age os the witches differ between the stories ( ran to hairo the story is about a young witch, and in Majo it's about a old witch the) the major difference, between these manga is in the protagonist development. While in ran to hairoo, the protagonist  read more

Keep company with these protagonists as they travel around the world solving problems that can't be answered by the commons means. As you read the mangas, you will see that both protagonist are quite similar, having an easy going, calm and serious personality with years of expertise into the mysthical knowlegde. If you are craving for the slice of life fantasy essence, it's definetly worth a try!!

Both are episodic manga where a girl related to supernatural is searching for something but ends up meeting humans and somehow helps them. Both have really cute artwork.
