Kaze no Stigma: Kouen no Miko

As I read Crimson Grave it reminded me of Kaze No Stigma, the characters and plot is very similar. Similarities: Kaze No Stigma & Crimson Blade: -guy is shunned from clan/group -accompanied by someone from the group/clan that shunned them -had someone special to them killed before their eyes -companion is strong and uses a sword -guy is perverted (not a huge pervert like Tomoki from Sora no Otoshimono though -.-) -both contain fighting and magic genres If you enjoyed reading one of these mangas I highly recommend that you read the other. Although Crimson Grave is still publishing, Kaze no Stigma also has an anime adaptation if you are interested. 

Somehow they seem very similar, though there are principal differencies. Similarity: 1) Ayumi is pink-hared fire mage, she is really cool (or hot you may say), though her character is fuel. She is always fired up to kick someone's ass. When she fights, she usually begins with attacking, but if something goes wrong, she never gives up and is able to figure out the winning strategy. She is very similar to Natsu, although she is girl. Also she Loves food, so as Natsu, and is slow when it comes to romance. She is stubborn as well and hard-to-stop. 2) Friendship is great and noble and means a lot for main characters. When it comes to sacrifice, they will rather live for their beloved ones, then die. 3) Kazuma is not as similar to Gray as Ayane is to Natsu, because he is wind mage, not ice, he is more adult and expirienced with girls and less perverted in that way, that is so strange about Gray, BUT boys are really very similar, if not to look at such small details. Of course, Kaze no Stigma is more about martial arts, less ecchi and the surroundings are real, while Fairy tail has more main characters and Fiore is not at our Earth at all. I'm really sorry for mangaka, because he died before he was able to end the story. But Kaze no Stigma is complete enough even if you want more of advantures and fun. read more
