Both shows involve characters that need to hide there gender for the sake of their work. Very few people know that they are hiding their true gender and they have to prevent the secret from coming out. While 1/2 L♡VE has more of a serious story revolving around work in the world of idols, Ouran is more of a light-hearted comedy revolving around high school life.  

They both have a love triangle and the protagonist turns into an idol 

Both are about showbiz and how a normal highschool girl gets involved in it after meeting a star. Also, in both mangas said star is a boy dressed up as a girl. Even though 1/2 love is way shorter, they have the similar light-hearted feeling.
