This manga is excellent, but there's currently no way to finish reading it unless I learn Japanese. The manga itself is finished, there's something like 36 chapters translated, and 40 or so left untranslated. I wish someone would complete it because it's a shame to leave it inaccessible to non-Japanese speaking fans. I wouldn't recommend reading it until then unless you want to regret starting something fantastic without having a way to finish it.
Please for the love of God, someone finish translating this! It's the story about the development of a child from a young age into adulthood who deals with the most traumatic

If someone were to tell you that one of the greatest protagonists of all time is a 3 year boy would you believe him? I didn't and that was until i read this manga and realized just how wrong i was.
Kiichi!! follows well, a boy named Kiichi that we accompany throughout his journey to understand the world and life, we see Kiichi go from a 3 year old kid that can't speak and only comunicates by punching to a 10 year old boy that has been living a very hard life since he was born and wants to end all suffering, in the sequel he's ... Very well done manga that I enjoyed quite a bit. The few complaints I have would be pacing and it's tendency to information dump on the reader. It feels very slow at times and often times you'll just get hit with a page of words which isn't something you always want. Watching Kiichi's childhood escalate so quickly was incredible though and I'm sure the sequel, Kiichi VS, will be even better. Overall, I would definitely recommend this manga to people, Kiichi is an amazing protagonist with incredibly high highs and even his lows aren't that low. A strong 4/5 for this definitely.

We as people have become accustomed to the evils of society. Kiichi gives commentary on this to fix our society we must look back to the idealistic mindsets of children
Kiichi is the story of a boy from when he is a child to a young teenager and how his odd life impacts him. We see him from a toddler to middle school. Characters-9.5 this is a protagonist-driven story the only real important character is Kiichi and he is written amazingly he is realistically shaped by his experiences and he portrays the different stages of life really well. Which I know is hard to write since writing young ... Aug 21, 2023
tl;dr: An okay coming of age story that turns into a terribly written social commentary.
This manga is somewhat of a coming of age story of an especially difficult boy named Kiichi. At just three years old, he’s a boy that doesn’t really seem to listen to or get along with anyone, constantly getting into fights or running off to who knows where. This is troublesome for his parents who look after him, but despite the issues that come up, they do their best in raising him. This portion of the manga is more from the perspective of his parents than Kiichi himself and thus feels ... Feb 3, 2023
This is peak fiction, one of the authors better works. The author addresses one of the many problems in Japan, and creates a story where he strives to change the very structure. The MC Kiichi disgusted by the society he lives with, will make everyone his enemy at the cost of doing what’s right. I have high hopes for him in the sequel.
🤦♂️I have to write more because it’s not enough. Yes, some people may not like the art style. The MC does have ears that are too big for him in his childhood. Yes, it has some inappropriate scenes, nothing traumatic, most of ... |
