I initially struggled to outline what "sexually explicit manga" exactly means, but I ultimately went with "any manga where a sizeable portion of its content consists of considerably perverted or sexual acts, subjects, imagery, etc."

The content does not have to be titillating, meaning something like Berserk counts too, which obviously is not meant to arouse you (unless you have questionable fetishes).

Of course, this list will NOT include straight up hentai. Erotica or borderline hentai is okay, though I will mostly try to avoid them.

I remember reading a transcript of a conversation between Yoshiyuki Tomino and Hideaki Anno in which one of them said something along the lines of "the heart of manga is fetishism". I don't remember which, but the other agreed, and they were right.
