This is your typical action story right here folks, one man is betrayed, runs off to another city, makes allies and then gets his revenge. Simple right?
Well maybe there's a little bit more to it then that :P

The art in this blows everything away, the detail and how this author released every page in colour is mind boggling. The colours are so rich and done so well that even if you don't want to read it at least you can admire the work that's been put into this.

Now this is where the fan service comes in. The main cast of characters are very likeable and ... stylish to boot. Chen Luo Jun reminds me of Squall from FFVIII, just not wimpy and a bad-ass with white hair.

I enjoyed reading this series and still plan to read it. Currently it's up to 32 chapters and counting and finished a volume, which with that is a whole new arc.

Lets get to the flaws.
The story is typical, in some cases you can tell where it's going.
The character development only scratches the surface with some of them and we don't get to see much of their pasts, for example Xin Yi.
The biggest thing is the pacing, one minute it's going slow next minute it's going off like Usain Bolt. It tries to throw in a few more things like romance and comes out from no where and seems rushed.

I would give this 7/10 but the art work itself is like a star that outshines anything being released right now, especially in colour.

After reading the story which is not finished, there are pros and cons to it.
The pros are like it shows, the art. The artist has really done himself using full colored pages instead of grayscale ones and it shows even better the emotions of people.
The story is with both pros and cons because it's entertaining, it has character development of both the main protagonist and the rest of the main crew but sometimes it feels rushed. There are indeed many scenes where the minor characters get a little bit of background story but others don't and we can only guess.
At some ... point I went back to check some aspects because it was so fast paced but all in all you could tell what was going to happen eventually.
The cons include the pacing as I said but that's all in my opinion. There are not that many gore scenes but there are indeed scenes that makes you cringe. The art really ads to these scenes but for a seinen story with yakuza I expected a little more scenes like that.

All in all it's a very good story, I recommend it to anyone who wants to read a relatively short manhwa that revolves around yakuza and also has a great art.
