He is well known for creating such series as Dragon Ball, Dr Slump and Sandland,etc... He also did some character design works in video games such as Dragon Quest series, Chrono Trigger and many others,.. His works such as Dragon Ball has influence/shaped the Shouen genre, how it became now with many series follow after and inspired from it. In Vietnam, his works has been well known for multiple generations along side with the big 5 series like Doraemon, Crayon Shin-Chan, Detective Conan (Case Closed), One Piece and Naruto. |
