Both, from what I've read are a lot a like. There both about a rich, famous school on the outside, but its true apearance is the students are all fighting to stay alive.

It's about the main character(s) go to a school full of violence because they want or need to. SHS is comedy and trust me i laugh on every chapter. TGD is kind of serious but gets you hook on. You'll love both of them just like me :D

Both mangas deal with "fight to survive" scenarios as well as dictator-like student councils that implement a caste system among the school students.

Both about a school where they fight to stay alive and having a really strong girl to protect them.

About the same. Both have a girl that goes to a prestigiously rich schools, then gets pulled into the fighting/drama of the school.

In both titles students try to defeat one another in a small isolated island being monitored by the Japanese government. In battle Royale the students (classmates and co-eds) kill each other in a deadly game in which the sole survivor will be granted his freedom. In Tokyo Girls Destruction the students from an entire school (composed of all girls) attack each other in order to gain each others badge and she who holds the badge is now the master of the previous owner Both titles are violent but Battle Royale is light years ahead of Tokyo Girls Destruction in this department and so far Tokyo Girls Destruction  read more

High school students stuck on an isolated island forced to try everything in their power to survive. While Eden no Ori (cage of eden) is mostly about surviving the environment and prehistoric beasts on a deserted island, there are some instances where the bigger threat comes from their fellow humans whereas Tokyo Girls Destruction's main antagonists are other female students who are bent on making the weaker girls as their own personal slave

Out of these two, I'm not sure which is the dafter: the one with a prison that's used as an amusement park or the one where a classy all-girl school has the students try to kill edge other for badges after lessons. It's a tough one. In Deadman Wonderland a class is slaughtered, some average-but-naturally-heroic midget gets blamed and then attempts to unravel the conspiracy in prison... while playing death-games in order to earn enough credits for food and death-aversion candy. In Tokyo Girls Destruction a girl transfers to a school built on a man-made island in order to discover the truth behind her older sister's death...  read more
