The Shogakukan Manga Award (小学館漫画賞, Shōgakukan Mangashō) is one of Japan's major manga awards, sponsored by Shogakukan Publishing. It has been awarded annually for serialized manga since 1955 and features candidates from a number of publishers. Each winning work will be honored with a bronze statuette and a prize of 1 million yen (about US$9,000). Special awards are also occasionally given out for outstanding work, lifetime achievement, and so forth. Romance is one of the most popular genres both in anime and manga. Other media such as K-Drama, Webtoon, or Manhwas most of them featured romance stories that were mostly led by Female protagonists while in Anime and Manga there are many Romance stories led by Male protagonists. Romance with a male protagonist is usually published in Shounen and Seinen Magazines and a few in Shoujo and Josei magazines. Therefore, I'm willing to share my list of Romance Manga With Male Protagonist, so people who like Romance stories, especially Male audiences can enjoy the Manga The problem in a lot of romances is that instead of an actual love triangle it's just a love corner - two "options" making the MC decide on one of them. This list has love triangles where the relationships are more than meets the eye - maybe all three even love each other (best friends, caught in between siblings, etc.) This is for your friends who only know manga through anime or only relate it to shonen and H, it’s not necessarily directed at a “manga beginner” but for someone who wants to understand it better as a medium. More than 1 volume, well drawn, easy to follow yet interesting visual and narratively. Manga about protagonists that's lives changed for the better due to a change in how they see the world, themselves and those around them, though there are some that must go through hardships before they are able to change. We've all experienced that frustrated feeling of enjoying a manga/LN, only to find out that it has a horrible, rushed, incomplete, unsatisfying ending. Here is a list of manga/LNs with endings that are so fulfilling and complete that they will leave you with nothing but a heart full of contentment and/or bittersweetness. List was created through collective data from multiple websites of people's answers as to what shows are considered to have satisfying endings. Semi/Realistic depictions of adolescence and high school. Life your best teen days vicariously through these characters!! ☆ ☆ KonoSugoi is an annual magazine aimed at finding out which is the best manga with content published in the year of the survey. The choice is made by a panel of judges from the manga and publishing industry, and often reflects works with a lot of potential for anime adaptation. Here are all the josei manga I think one should read in order to cover all bases. I organized this list by general theme, with publishing series at the bottom. this year I will try to read more shoujo/josei! and the queer manga I´ve been meaning to read for a long time :) titles centering on visual arts, performing arts, and fashion; typically sentimental in nature and include friendship and coming of age themes; sorted by average rating |
