Reluctant at first, then realizes he is in love. classic yaoi story! Iit is still a nice read! artwork is clear and easy to understand. It has some mice kissing scenes in it. It also has some funny parts in it. Not a waste of time to read!

Mixed Feelings
This series can easily be summed up in one word: Average.

The story is the standard set up of two characters being long time friends and one has fallen for the other. It doesn't make any effort to go beyond this basic set up, falling into quite a few standard conventions and set ups. The characters remain one-dimensional tropes without being given much uniqueness and, though likable, are nothing memorable. The art as well is quite typical for this kind of story, with thick lines and character models that look kind of awkward about half the time.

For such a quick read and a common plot, this is really well done.

The emotions run high without feeling forced or cliché, and the characters feel more genuine than the usual tropes you see in shounen-ai one-shots. The awkwardness of your best friend confessing their love to you; the heartbreak of not hearing it back; the rush to untangle your feelings for someone before it’s too late: it’s all written in a very real way that makes you feel for the characters.
