In both stories, guys meet while dropping kids to the daycare (though in TgKD guys also know each other from the middle school). Plus there are cute kids who are getting along pretty well. 

Both manga are about a lonely office worker falling in love with another man. In Ikumen after, both men are single fathers, while in Bokura no Shokutaku, the other guy has a younger brother. There's also some cooking involved.  

The main characters' dynamic is similar. In both manga, the main character becomes a single parent after his spouse passes away.
