Because of this, they tend to be on the mature side and tackles the situations that people in same sex relationships experiences in real life. Live-action adaptations often leave a bad impression on anyone who has read or watched the source material. Many are even quick to say that they just should never exist. But I beg to differ—these kind of shows helps us look at things in another perspective. WILL your interpretation of [manga] be different if it is acted by people? I don't want to say live-actions are good, in fact I'm still cringing most of the time, but they give fresh air at least. Manga & Manhua & Manhwa + novels in the bl drama or psychological category that are AMAZING reads. I would highly recommend all of these. very much based on my personal tastes, everything here has a larger story and plot, as well as depth of character. some may have romance and smut. most are rather dark. Here's a stack with titles that start off as either lighthearted/humorous, stereotypical in some ways or a bit generic. But than they turn into complex and memorable stories full of emotion. Works in which the main protagonist has been in previous romantic relationships prior to getting together with their main love interest, or is established to have been in a romantic relationship prior to the events of the story.
