Reading this underrated manga really did taught me pretty interesting facts about the Meji period (for those who do not know the Meji period was dated from 1867-1912, thanks Wiki for clarifying this with me lol). The one thing that really taught me while reading this manga was that I honestly never knew that men suits were called "Mantle". I actually never thought Japan progressed greatly to having "western" fashion during that time period. Before knowing about this, I really thought they had their own fashion and didn't care about the "western" fashion until later on. Yup I was proven wrong as a dumb ...
