Vanilla Frosting is a pretty interesting-looking series on the basics; it's about a girl named Arim who witnesses a man curse on TV, and follows in his footsteps to become a chef like him. Unfortunately, this is all I can say that's good about it. The version I saw at least had several flaws: first, the manga was poorly translated; several names and characters are inconsistent in their names, speech patterns, and lines frequently come off as structured improperly. The story itself isn't overly interesting either in its execution, and plays out somewhat similar to a standard romance story.
The other big issue here is pacing.
