How deeply emotional can one manga truly be?

The Light of Tsukimi Manor is a manga that I shall always remember. It touched me in a place I will never be touched again.

Meet Akari, the charismatic "Light" of Tsukimi Manor. She embarks upon an emotional, tearjerking rollercoaster ride of grief, ardour, strength, rage, joy, pride, and most notoriously, passion.

The Light of Tsukimi Manor isn't all hentai. It makes you question the very fabrics of life, the very atoms that hold your body together. The Light of Tsukimi Manor is no stranger to philosophy, and often times I got lost in thought as I browsed through the ... pages, those pages I cherish, and constantly re-read for spiritual and philosophical guidance. I could tell, just by reading it, I had become smarter. No wonder, then, it's mandatory reading in most University Physics courses.

No character evokes emotion quite like Akari. I always respect a good plot, but a good plot wasn't present in this manga. A plot that rivals Shakespeare himself instead stands present. You thought Romeo and Juliet was a tearjerker? Think again. Akari ain't no pussy and takes no easy way out, instead we see massive character development as her very personality is shaken by the acute flow of every day life. Can one character truly take such psychological trauma? Can one character's thoughts invoke such emotion? Find out for yourself.

If you enjoyed the likes of Clannad, Ef - A Tale of Memories, K-On!, School Rumble, Cardcaptor Sakura or even Sailor Moon, I'd definitely recommend following up with this.

10/10 in all fields. It's a must read for any human being, philosopher, squire, scientist or not. A good read for all the family. If you really want to advance the human cause, print copies out and put them in boxes of cereal whilst nobody is looking. Enlightenment doesn't come with every cereal, but you can make it so.
