A list of manga with the most realistic artwork I can think of. Some titles have their own style added into the manga, this is totally fine - so cartoonish features and anatomically incorrect proportions are fine - so long as backgrounds or character art is high quality and reminiscent of realistic imagery/CGI then its eligible for this list.

List of sleeves for "elitist". These manga have been considered as "deep" animations by various critics and analysts.

In this compilation there are manga with quite complicated stories that are not recommended for all audiences. As they are: cult manga, artistic, experimental, avant-garde, underrated, psychological, philosophical, unique or mind-blowing.

The joke here is communication about these is kinda weird unless specified that the response itself is the title.

Or if someone tuning in to a conversation between weebs would be extremely confused about it either by controversy or u sounding illiterate af:

I will also include series that are difficult to search and result in the complete opposite. eg;

Blending sci-fi, supernatural, and fantasy, they are unconventional stories that transcend the boundaries of space and time. The dominant feelings are rather melancholic and gloomy.

Reboots and remakes, made either by the original author or by someone new, from flashy updates of webcomics to classics remade anew. Excludes manga based on a pilot one-shots and adaptations of other media (such as multiple adaptations of a novel). Vaguely sorted.

Most entries explain the circumstances or have the original in the relations, except for Yakushoku Distopiary (a webcomic remake). One Piece: Episode A and Eguchi Hisashi contain remakes. Hotel has Boichi's remake of a manhwa one-shot Hotel: Since 2079.

Must-read manga mostly demographed as Seinen but also contains other good mangas that are not published in any Seinen magazine but are definitely suited for an older/adult audience.

All these mangas are a good read in my opinion, ofcourse this includes ones that I consider top-tier and personal favorites but the others - if not amazing, are definitely worth reading at least once.

While most Manga only focus on one story, there're still a few out there that explore different types of stories of different characters in different circumstances. Some happy and hopeful, some dark and tragic, some cute and light-hearted, some ridiculous, some bittersweet.

I plan on reading 100 manga in one month. Manga I will read are on this lists.
