The protagonist falls in love with the male lead, then there is a friend of hers who falls in love with her as well. Both are shojo manga and both follow the usual situations found in this kind of manga. The art is quite similar between the two, as well as many of the characters.

Male characters in both are kind of giving off the same vibe, living in their own words (Taki and Towa). In 350 Material female protagonist and the boy are starting going out pretty quickly though.

There are many differences: the personality and physical appearance of the female lead, the importance of the love triangle, the quality of the art style, the type of feelings explored, the length, etc. However the overall atmosphere is similar in some ways, like the classroom interactions, the friendship between the female lead and other characters, the thoughtfullness with which the authors explore the emotional mindset of their adolescent characters.

Both heroines are mesmerised by their male counterparts. There is also a friendly, caring and honest guy friend who falls in love with the heroine and an ex who disrupts the relationship between the two main protagonists. Both play on the same sort of emotions and are touching in their own way ^-^

Both stories go in a similar direction. The main males Taki in "360 Degrees Material", and Yano in "Bokura Ga Ita" have an "ex" that somehow interferes in their relationships. Then there's the nice, sweet, helpful, and caring guy friend who helps the female protagonist overcome her struggles and eventually falls in love with her. Similar story lines, but a twist in plot. Both are entertaining manga to read. ^.^

The male lead are similar in a way - for example, they are both in their own worlds, or something like that; mysterious/weird. Basically, you wouldn't know what they're really thinking. The female protagonists are also a bit weird - they do unordinary things, so in the end, both of the male and female characters are hard to relate to ourselves(?) . To explain, if i were to describe them as blood types, then both of the female and male protagonists would be AB. <-- (it's just an example) Also, because both of the stories have a girl that act as a love rival, such  read more

Both have soft cute drawings and feature a protagonist that behaves in a odd way: in HC is the girl while in 360ºMaterial is the boy.
