I came across Wild Kiss when searching for a BL manga without any angst and sure enough, that is what I got. The story itself isn't very original, a vampire feels a strong attraction to a human and relies on said humans blood in order to stay sane.

The idea of the traditional vampire is pretty much thrown out the window with this one. In fact, the only thing I see in this is the need for blood. Everything else just seems pushed to the side as a half vampire seems to need blood from only one person. The story is much longer then any of the one shots that I have been reading and so the story feels much more fleshed out. You can really feel the tension between the two until the end which feels really rushed. Just because of one little thing, the story ended up going down a star.
