Same author/artist. Only ch1 of Tokyo ESP has been released, but overall it looks similar to Ga-rei which was a very interesting series. I suggest checking out Ga-Rei first and if you like that check out Tokyo ESP.

With special abilities/technology, Tokyo ESP and World Trigger chronicle the events of characters with such gifts. Although their premises are different, their respective stories explore elements of otherwordly events. Both series' main characters face challenges that puts their lives at risk. Recommended for fans of super power/shounen.

Both involve a select number of people who gain superpowers due to certain circumstances. And similarly, the antagonists of the series want to create a new world, in which only those with power can live; whereas the protagonists just want to protect it.

Both have to do with psychic abilities and the battle between a group trying to change the world. Some romance between male and female lead.

Tokyo ESP and Sentou Hakai Gakuen Dangerous features individual with supernatural abilities. However, there's also a distinctive amount of prejudice against these certain individuals as they attempt to co-exist with society. As result, violence exists as part of their society. At the center of it, we meet the main protagonists who engage in complicated affairs with antagonists that threatens their world. Both series are known for their action with a shounen-like style of storytelling. Sentou Hakai Gakuen Dangerous is also known for its more mature content.

Tokyo ESP and Boku no Hero Academia shares a familiar theme of super powers in their worlds. The main character from both series hopes to use their power to prove something and make a difference. Throughout both series, they come into conflict with others beings with supernatural powers that rivals their own. At the same time, we also learn about the origins of the powers portrayed and plot revelations that affects the roles of the characters.

A boy-meets-girl story. Both have special powers and struggle with the "responsibility to become a hero" problem. Same romantic tension between the male and female leads.

Both have similiar plot settings. Both are about a world with supernatural abilities and a group who tries to destroy everything so that only those with abilities survive.

A major theme in both series is the existence of esper abilities. Individuals with these abilities have a major role as the story progresses. The main protagonist of the story awakens their own abilities that changes their life forever. They must deal with the responsibilities and consequences of their ability as major obstacles begins to appear in their lives.

Tokyo ESP is goofier but they both showcase a character with powers in a place where such a group is trying to overtake the regular world.

The challenge of dealing with hostility between people with newfound esp powers and the normals around them.

Taking place in a modern life setting, Tokyo ESP and Yozakura Quartet chronicles the stories of a group of characters with unique special abilities. The main female protagonist from both series have similar personalities and puts others before themselves. At the same time, they get into conflicts with other beings with super abilities as well as public officials. There is presence of lighthearted comedy and relationship dynamics explored in both series. Tokyo ESP has a darker plot while Yozakura Quartet portrays more of a slice of life style. Nonetheless, I recommend both series if you're interested in modern fantasy.
