Manga about protagonists that's lives changed for the better due to a change in how they see the world, themselves and those around them, though there are some that must go through hardships before they are able to change. You are reading a slow burn romance, and you start rooting for the second lead despite the odds being against them. Deep down, you know that 80% of the time the MC is gonna end up with the main lead. But you can't stop hoping since they feel more realistically flawed and human. In some cases, the second lead even ends up with the protagonist, and that's the closest feeling to winning the lottery. Mangas that gave me Second Male Syndrome and certain mangas where the second male lead actually wins yahoooo >///< shoujos that I couldn't stop reading after I started (doesn't always mean that they are unproblematic because well we're talking about shoujo and josei here, there's always at least something minor that can bother you BUT I promise these aren't the worst ever) These are the best rated "manga" on MAL by chapter count, starting with 1 chapter, then 2 chapters, then 3, and so on, all the way up to 50 chapters. "Manga" is in quotations because it actually includes anything - manga, manhwa, manhua, novels, light novels, one-shots, etc. Same rules like the last three. ♱ manga/manhwa that aren't necessarily about fashion but that have fashionable characters (all kinds of styles, mainly alternative ones) |
