With comedy, sweetness, and some nice sexual tension, Acchi Kocchi and Amano Megumi provide some of the best slice-of-life entertainment in the manga medium. While AM has a bigger emphasis of fanservice, both feature iconic characters that readers will recognize at a glance. Combine that with light-hearted episodic stories, and you got the perfect pair of series to read after a long day at work!

Both stories feature a shy main girl whose feelings sometimes manifest into cat ears, with a crush on a down-to-earth boy, plus a quirkier friend group around them as they all have fun (and cute bonding moments) in and out of school.

Sporting chibi-esque character designs and wacky humor, both Acchi Kocchi and Kill Me Baby are sure to bring a smile to the reader's face. Fans of Acchi Kocchi who love the tsu-boke style humors surrounding Mayoi and Sakaki will love Kill Me Baby, a series that refines the comedy style to a brutally effective formula. Fans of Kill Me Baby who want to see its Comedy style function with a larger cast of characters will appreciate Acchi Kocchi's various tricksters and straight men, each with their own slight variations.

-Same style 4-koma -Both of them tells about daily life. -Both of them are laughable to read, though SYD has more mature humor than Acchi Kochi

-Same style 4-koma -Same daily life -Acchi Kochi tells about simple daily life, while K-On! Tells about daily life of music -Both of them are laughable to read

Both being your typical 4koma, they make for pretty enjoyable reads. While they do rely on gimmicks a lot, they're good enough to get you that interested in the characters just a chapter into the volume. Both contain unrequited love, in which the other person is just too clueless to realize, which makes for lots of funny situations.
