Synopsis

Five Years After the War―Peace had become second nature in the victorious nation of Formapolis. But the tranquility was shattered by a series of bizarre incidents: the illegal dumping of grotesque corpses known as as "Specimens." Detective Klein, a member of the Special Cases Unit, is assigned to investigate. To aid him, the government provides a partner: Dr. Agatho, a man with a shadowy past. However, Dr. Agatho seems to have forgotten his subordinate status as a former prisoner from the defeated nation. Instead of simply assisting, he persistently attempts to seduce Klein, his official partner and a government agent. As Klein delves deeper into the case, he finds himself ensnared by Agatho's unpredictable nature and is led to Tristan, a man with supernatural abilities tied to the mystery. The plot thickens when Klein uncovers a startling truth: Agatho was once a "Researcher," and Tristan, his "Specimen." Their history runs deeper—and darker—than Klein could have imagined.
