I don't need to drag this out artificially, after all “Chew the Academy With a Sashimi Stick” only delivers 13 chapters so far.
Having lost his parents as a child, the protagonist becomes such a talented chef that he is soon known as a sword master! Coincidentally, he is drawn into a game shortly afterwards and is given the ability to cut anything as long as he uses a fish knife...


Across its 13 chapters, “Chew the Academy With a Sashimi Stick” offers a fairly generic, but by no means bad, 'Isekai / I got pulled into a game I know' story and characters so far.
Special ... features are probably the somewhat unusual art style and the somewhat gloomy mood that clings to almost everything - for example, the protagonist's sword-god blessing soon turns out to be a kind of curse. However, the manga doesn't make much of it in 13 chapters, which I can't hold against it.

This manhwa is just stupid. Basically MC is a master class chef who gets isekaied to a world of swordsmanship and has to go to sword school to become a swordsman who hunts monsters or something, it doesn't matter. For some bullshit reason he can only use a sashimi knife to fight and whenever he does he enters some trance like state where he goes god mode and wins every fight super easily while everyone witnessing shits themselves and goes "BUT HOW HE'S FIGHTING WITH A SASHIMI KNIFE?!?!??!" All of the dialogue is shallow and or cringe, the plot progress painfully slowly, the art is ... decent, the MC is insufferable, don't read this.

The author has made an interesting decision to establish a setting of a video which has been SPECIFICALLY STATED to have been failed due to having a boring plot and characters, and having nothing but cute girls. Afterwards, is it a stroke of honesty or complete lack of awareness that when the MC is sucked into this world, we basically experience exactly that? My greatest issue is that there is no "just a sashimi knife". The main character is no underdog. He does not utilize his knife skills from his previous life, he just has his two cheat abilities do everything. This is a softcore ... pornhwa with good art so read it if you're interested in that. Since he was of course a sushi chef in his previous life, there is this one panel where he goes to some yandere's dorm room who is in love with him, and she so happens to have a fridge full of many containers of live fish. In an English translation, she says she has them because she is "from a beach location". Conquering the Academy with Just a Sashimi Knife is definitely up there.
