A protagonist that is smart, calm, and composed. One that does not survive in the apocalypse due to other peoples help and luck, but due to his smart planning and logical thinking.
There isn't anything to act as comic relief or otherwise balance all the dark content. You don't get to see much stockpiling of resources, the MC is mostly a loner but takes in a woman and her daughter for seemingly no reason. past is kept vague, but there is no proper build up and suspense to it all. The story seems like the author knows what they are doing and is trying to leave a breadcrumb trail of clues and slowly build up the story, but it just really wasn't for me.
The narration of the story is really like a movie. It’s also cold and badass enough that makes it not “edgy”.
This is what you should expect of an apocalyptic Manhwa.
Our protagonist low-key kinda give the same vibes as Johan from Monster, but our MC is a much more decent human being than Johan…
