Synopsis:-
Ootani Akira, leading the humanity in the war between robots and humans in the distant future, has been a constant pain in the ass for the robots, for obvious reasons. Robots came to the decision to erase him by going to the past and killing him when he was just a nobody. And they created a specialized robot for accomplishing that mission. Yeah, Terminator vibes right? But the twist is paradoxes exist. If she kills her target, she ceases to exist too. Having no means to return to the future and not wanting to die either, she decides to abandon her mission, and witnesses herself
...
living with her target.
Now starting with the story and if the manga operated on the synopsis alone described above, it would have been better. Initial two chapters I thought were fine, filled with comedy and running gags. But the moment the author decided to insert some more characters, it just became underwhelming. Obviously the comedy somewhat benefitted from the increased cast, as there are now more instances for different joke opportunities, but the plot was reduced to a congested mess. When you have five chapters with 3 spent to just introduce different characters you are not heading in a good direction. The story would have benefitted had the characters been introduced later down in the storyline (assuming it did not get axed by that time).
Art was very clean with clearly defined strokes. Character designs were also decent. About the characters and the best one was definitely of Momomi. The only moments of this manga I vaguely remember on the top of my head is she drinking gasoline and another one being slamming herself on the wall.
Wrapping the review up, it was a decent manga for a few jokes here there, wouldn't stop you from reading this as it only has 5 chapters. Might as well go for it if you have time.
