Synopsis

"Wherever you are, if your life is meaningless..."

In conformity with village tradition, Rita, a lonely lad, has been chosen as "the dragon bride." The existence of the dragon of the snowy mountain is now nothing more than a legend handed down from olden times. Rita, however, cannot find a role for himself in the village, so, realizing they are reducing the number of mouths to feed, he accepts becoming a sacrifice.

He wanders about in a snowstorm in search of the dragon when, close to death, he is saved by Ignat, a beautiful dragon in human form.

Rita's eyes beam, because there really was a dragon and Rita is able to fulfill his role as "bride" after all. However, Ignat flatly tells him: "I need no bride." Nevertheless, Rita refuses to give up and learns the secret of the "dragonification" ritual...
