Recommendations

Both series are about a protagonist who's skilled at running and his tumultuous relationship with the object of his affections over a number of years (although the time period is larger in D-ASH). Both also balance some serious drama with frenetic humour, although Suzuka (targetted toward a younger audience) is overall more light-hearted.

Both are romance series where you can watch the main characters grow up from child hood to being adults. Both of them also are pretty sporty, though D-ASH is more revolved around a sport than Complex. Complex is boyxboy while D-ASH is the old fashioned girlxboy. Plus Complex brings the characters all the way to the old man stage while D-ASH stops at the adult stage. I can truly say I loved reading both of them and that though if you love one, you may not love the other (considering the difference in 'types' of romance), but they do relate in many ways and  read more

Both titles are coming-of-age serialisations revolving around young kids and their foray into "adult" relationships.

As kids get older, they often experience moments of emotional realisation - both good and bad. These two series highlight this; initially focusing on kids and later as their older counterparts.
